About Us

The College of Engineering and Technology, previously known as the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Wachemo University, was established in 2011 under Regulation No. 222/2011 by the Council of Ministers of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

Our mission is to promote excellence in the production, growth, and dissemination of advanced scientific knowledge through rigorous teaching and innovative research. We aim to cultivate a learning environment that emphasizes:
