Significance of the study
This study is expected to provide the clear picture of interaction of hosanna town internationally, nationally,
regionally in general and with its hinterlands in particular. This information in turn is expected to the clear
evidence for the identification of the area of links, opportunities and challenges as well as the potential
resources to be explored and exploited to generate and implement the regional plan(the hosanna integrated
metropolitan plan). Secondly, it is also expected to help other decision makers on the issue of integrating
hosanna with its hinterlands mainly, for their information as an input for decision. Thirdly, for any researcher who is willing to conduct research in similar issues, it can be the cornerstone that provides some
sort of clue or information. Lastly, it can benefit the community when some changes (improvement) made
and new links will be establish between the town and its hinterlands in certain important aspects like market
link, technological dissemination and job creation in the linkage.
