Hosaena Integrated Urban Development Planning Program (HIPP) Executive Summary

Objectives

HIPP’s main objective is to prepare the finest urban and regional plan for the town of Hosaena. The preparation of plans strictly follows the national and regional planning laws of the country. All the relevant regulation, guidelines and planning manuals will be used plan preparing. The program office will then close after the submission and approval of the plan by the concerned authority. The minimum program office time span is two years starting from January 2017.

There are five specific objectives that make this goal happen. These are

1. To create all-inclusive city development which includes all neighborhoods, all income-levels, all ethnic groups, and all religions; especially comfortable for: the disabled, elderly and children.

2. To create a vibrant, permeable, illuminated and active urban area which is lively day and night.

3. To create attractive region in its: efficient transport, sound waste management, good infrastructure, green environment, and tourist attraction sites.

4. To make a resilient macro and micro economic metropolitan development that: generates huge employment opportunities, attracts private sector, and involves key government interventions.

5. To substitute the current illegal or informal land occupation by a good land information system that fosters: fair land ownership, affordable housing, large public spaces, and magnificent industrial development.:
