Specific Objectives of the Project
Specifically, the project will aim:
i. To generate base-line data and other information on the rural and urban
agriculture at the household level
ii. To investigate the opportunity and constraints of agricultural production in the
study areas
iii. To examine the effect of urban and rural agriculture on poverty and on urban-rural
linkage.
iv. To develop agricultural business plan models (Poultry, dairy farming, fruits and
vegetables, bee keeping) and thereby indicates the implications for future
government policy planning and management of urban and rural agriculture.
