General Objectives
The general objective of the research is investigation of engineering properties of soil in
Hossana town.
Specific Objectives
i. To investigate: -Engineering properties of soil in the town.
ii. To prepare well organized sub surface condition data used for responsible
organization like town municipality office, for researchers, contractors participate
in construction and investors.
iii. Exploring possible effects of environmental pollutants on quality of life.
iv. To prepare soil map for the town.
