General Objectives
i. Recommending possible solutions by investigating major problems of urban growth on
housing and settlement.
ii. To identify positive trends and potentials that should be maintained.
Specific Objectives
i. To analyze past trend of urban growth and to take corrective measure. The research
findings can be used as input for other developments and projects on the area.
ii. Documentation of history and spatial heritage of hadiya zone.
iii. Contributing and strengthen research capacity of wachemo university as it is junior
campus.
